Within the scope of the “Turkey Diabetes Prevention and Control Programme” carried out by the Ministry of Health Public Health Institution, it is planned to standardize the education of patients with diabetes under the name of diabetes school.
Within the scope of this program, a diabetes school was opened in our hospital for the education of patients with diabetes. Participation in the training program is free, and the participants are given a diploma in the name of the diabetes school at the end of the training. Applications are received by the nurse of the diabetes education unit of Kırklareli State Hospital. With this school, it is aimed to have diabetes patients who are more conscious and educated about their disease.
