Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital consists of TDL (Travay - Birth - Postpartum) rooms in the Gynecology and Obstetrics Service and single rooms where patients who have undergone active labor (birth process) stay until they become stable after they are hospitalized, followed up and delivered. These are specially designed rooms that are suitable for the patient's privacy, in the comfort of home, with a comfortable, safe and experienced delivery team, and will ensure that the baby and mother are discharged from the same room by providing the first skin contact of the baby and the mother, accelerating the healing process. In our hospital, we have 2 TDL rooms in our obstetrics service.
In addition, a new gynecology operating room was opened, with the approval of the Ministry of Health, in the service area that will meet the needs of emergency cesarean section during the follow-up of the patients in the obstetrics service. Patients will be able to be operated in the operating room in the gynecology service without being transported to the operating room. With the newly opened operating room table, the number of operating room tables in the hospital has increased to 7 tables.
In addition to normal birth and cesarean section operations without leaving the service, our patients can be hospitalized in the 1st and 2nd step neonatal intensive care units in the same area, if needed. As the Ministry of Health and the hospital management, another important step has been taken in terms of our policy of being a comfortable, preferred, reliable hospital for our patients and meeting the needs of the region.
